It s a rather old hotel, but always well looked after, they have always been renovating, we enjoyed our stay there. Basically stocked mini fridge, TV had a good variety of Eng news and entertainment channels. Small but clean bathroom with basic toiletries. Water pressure OK with hot water at wash basin. Reasonable location 1 street from the river, 20 minutes walk to town centre or B30 by motor bike taxi (B50 to bus terminal). Short walk to night market and variety of cafes and pubs. Buffet breakfast had a reasonable variety of western and asian dishes, served in a bright and comfortable dining room. CYBERNET internet available in the lobby at B50 for 1 hour. WiFi also available. Very surprised that this hotel does NOT rate a mention in Lonely Planets Thailand guide!! A great hotel for a peaceful stay. Food is OK and reasonably priced. What disappoints me and my friends is that the Ping river is quite far away, separated by one beach road, 4 tennis courts and a main road. So the so called river view is nothing to shout about. Worst, I lost it when the hotel checked me into a room with a back street view.
