First surprise front desk people can hardly say a few words in English. Second surprise free Internet for only 3 hours a day. However, great location being very close to and in between the railway station, bus stand, night market, war cemetery and River Kwai death railway bridge. Coffee machine with coffee/tea sachets is a standard service these days but not at this hotel. Despite written confirmation by Sawadee, they refused to provide the coffee maker, though they provided free hot water in thermos. The themed bar with live Rodeo music seemed nice as I did not use the services. Breakfast was average. If you want to connect to history, its nice.
